Each month, we partner with an influencer guest host who brings their unique perspective through collaborative social content and a curated reading list, engaging both our community and theirs around a common theme.

Meeting readers where they are means strategically blending digital video content and live events, which allows us to continually introduce the beauty of our product to new hearts, minds, and venues. We choose our ever-expanding team of influencers not just by the size of their following, but by the strength of the connection they’ve created with their audience. Throughout the month, we create and deliver content with these influencers and independently across channels, from social posts on Instagram and TikTok to blog articles to email content, building a content engine to connect and inspire the community.

This summer, the Everand Everything Club is going to camp!

Picture it: arts and crafts, hiking and adventure, games and sports, campfire stories, free time, new friends, good times, and the great outdoors. Summer camp is a state of mind — the escape we all need — and books are the perfect way to get there, no matter where we are. So pack your bags, round up your besties, pick your bunk — and your book. We’re off to camp!

Book clubs are all about relationships. When you feel seen by someone, you trust their ability to recommend a title you’ll love. Unlike other brands in our competitive set, we don’t talk at customers. They’re members (and future members) of the EEC. We talk with them daily, center their experience, and watch our numbers grow.

Through the EEC, we are challenging the unwritten rules of reading. Great stories aren’t always found on the bestseller list. Listening to an audiobook is still reading. And no two bookshelves are the same. At a time when book bans threaten access to text, the EEC is a community bringing together book lovers of all kinds, no matter what they want to read. Because whether it fuels you or frees you, Everand will always fit you.

"My vibe this month and really my vibe all summer has been mood reading!! I’ve read a ton of different books from all over the genre spectrum and I’ve mainly given myself a lot of grace when it comes to what/how much I’ve been reading this summer. With that in mind, my vibe is low pressure, read what you want but also if you change your mind that’s more than okay."

"The books we’re reading in August have a common thread. They’re easy to pick up and
they’re hard to put down. I think this type of bingeable book is perfect for the summer.
Maybe you’re at the beach for a weekend and you want to start and finish a book while you’re there. Maybe you’re on a long flight sitting in a tiny, overpriced coach seat and you need to dissociate for a few hours. There’s nothing worse than lugging a book around all summer in the heat and humidity and never even opening it."

Tales of success

After kicking off the EEC in August, the results from just a few short months tell their own stories, highlighting the many ways we’re engaging with our community.

A vibrant, diverse community of readers and listeners bound by a love of stories.

In the world of the written word, many rules go unwritten. How many books did you read last year? Did you read the latest bestseller? Did you read it in one sitting? Does it count if you listen to it? But immersing yourself in great stories shouldn't be something on your to-do list or a competition — it should be personal to you.

That’s why we started the Everand Everything Club — a novel book club to challenge these unwritten rules with 3 simple pillars: Read what you want, when you want, how you want. And we’ve built a dynamic community through a reimagined format, inviting you to read on, your way.

We know this is exactly the personalization and choice that modern readers crave. According to research we conducted earlier this year, 37% of participants had taken part in a book club. For those who hadn’t, 43% reported they preferred to choose books on their own, and 30% of those participants said they’d be interested in a club where they could read what they want.

That’s where we come in. Rather than giving EEC members a single book recommendation for the month, we reinforce the breadth and depth of the Everand catalog and encourage readers to choose their own reading journey within the framework of a fun and welcoming community experience.

Each month, the EEC explores a new theme that meets readers where they are — connecting the state of the world and stories we’re living to the stories we enjoy. Chosen based on seasonality, each theme has a goal of connecting the community with timely, informative, and inspirational content. Through a mix of influencer and editorial curations, we broadly interpret that theme to offer a wide range of titles, authors, and voices for every reading taste.

Our multi-pronged digital strategy leverages video content, live events, editorial recommendations, and strategically selected influencers to place us authentically in the center of cultural conversations. Because we believe that
the best stories are the ones you like.

What is the Everand Everything Club?

As a regional strategy, we partner with Open Book Club, an engaged community of approximately 10,000 people that aligns with our EEC pillars. Together, we host live events and foster relationships at the local level. Attendees, who sign up for events through social media promotion, are made up primarily of NYC-based friends and followers of Open Book Club and Everand.

Each participant is offered a free Everand trial for complimentary access to the chosen book. In 2024, we co-hosted five intimate events at wine bars throughout New York City. Keeping the attendee count between 20-35 people allowed us to foster lively discussion, new friendships, and an authentic connection to the world of Everand.

“I really like it and have enjoyed being a part of the Everand Everything Club!”

-Tray Taylor

“We love book club meetings with Everand! They say the best stories are the ones you like, and maybe we would add they’re the ones [we] like to talk about! Making new friends over drinks, books, and a little banter about reading vs. listening really is a perfect night.”
– Open Book Club Founder, Liz Montesano

The Everand Everything Club is transforming the way we connect through books. More than just a fast-growing community, it’s redefining what a book club can be — dynamic, flexible, and tailored to fit every reader’s life. With the freedom to read anytime, anywhere, and with anyone, it’s not just the future of book clubs — it’s the future of how we experience reading together.
